Hi all! I'm back captioning for a little bit, but thought I'd make a quick non-caption post. Has anyone else used FaceApp for their captions? I was playing around with it the other night and I realized it might be a solution to one of my captioning problems - getting a picture with a pose you really like but not the facial expression you need for the story.
The app's not perfect but it's a nice option to have (not that I've used it for a caption yet). I've also made some HIDEOUS faces as a result but most of these patches fit back over the original image really well.
Now to wait for a chance to put this to good use!
I've never had any personal experience using FaceApp for a caption before, but I can see what you mean about it being a potentially useful option in the toolkit. Getting the expression right can be a pain. I suppose the real challenge would be trying to produce an image of consistent high quality to fit the resolution of the original picture. (Some creative Photoshopping, maybe?)
