FaceApp for Captions?

Hi all! I'm back captioning for a little bit, but thought I'd make a quick non-caption post. Has anyone else used FaceApp for their captions? I was playing around with it the other night and I realized it might be a solution to one of my captioning problems - getting a picture with a pose you really like but not the facial expression you need for the story.

The app's not perfect but it's a nice option to have (not that I've used it for a caption yet). I've also made some HIDEOUS faces as a result but most of these patches fit back over the original image really well.

Now to wait for a chance to put this to good use!

  1. I've never had any personal experience using FaceApp for a caption before, but I can see what you mean about it being a potentially useful option in the toolkit. Getting the expression right can be a pain. I suppose the real challenge would be trying to produce an image of consistent high quality to fit the resolution of the original picture. (Some creative Photoshopping, maybe?)

Anyway, keep up the lovely caps and creative experiments! ^.^
