I'm glad you were cool with them swapping back. I think I like not having a set pattern on whether a story ends with them swapping back or not. I think when I was reading more body swap stuff, I could basically assume the protagonist wasn't going to swap back, whereas I kind of like the suspense of not knowing how a story's going to end.
