The End Of A Story

So we've come to the end of the blog, so please forgive my super indulgent final captions. I'll be getting around to replying to comments before I leave.

So these caps do allude to why I'm leaving in a kind of meta way. I've been loving captions since Robo's World was an active site, and while captions have been a part of my life for a while, it didn't dawn on me how it was affecting me in other ways, and I realize that it's time for me to leave this behind for my own good.

I had hoped to keep building the swap world I've worked on for the last few years, and I really tried to do different stories that were more than the typical captions that tend to exist (even though those are the kind of tales I love to read). I tried not to always have people stuck, but to have swapping (and re-swapping) to be a part of the lives of these characters.

It was a great exercise in writing for me too, keeping the exact same space to write a full story. It definitely taught me what lines to leave in, and which lines I could leave out or re-phrase. I'll be doing my best NOT to check on all my favourite sources of body swap stories, but I hope that the quality of stories continues to improve out there.

If you're thinking about starting captions, I'd recommend that you focus on characters. We all enjoy a man turned woman playing with his boobs and pussy for the first time. That's a given. The thing that will make your story stand out is the unique interactions you write. Not every brother/sister swap will occur the same way. What makes THIS sibling duo different when they swap from another?

Thanks to everyone who's followed the blog, commented, and/or added me to their blog rolls. I've been a big fan of SwitchHitter and M Wills for a long time, (as well as Donnie's and TGBackburner's) and drawn inspiration from all of them. All the captions on my blog roll have produced stories I've loved, and I hope keep producing amazing stuff.

Once again, thank you for being on this journey with me, and best wishes to both your swapping fiction lives, as well as your real ones.

  1. Is this the end of story. Is it a one shot thing. Or is it another in series of stories, what is the question.

    1. Good questions. At the end of the day, I guess this is the end of the caption blog, but the start of other things for me away from the body swap captions.

    1. Haha. You can "grow up" in the way that works best for you. If you find a healthy way to balance enjoying this with the rest of your life, more power to you.

I'm glad you enjoyed the blog.

  7. Fare thee well in future endeavors (the original and best meaning of "farewell," methinks, which didn't mean closure but an opening to the future). The world ahead of you will benefit from your creativity. It has been a joy to appreciate the aspects of your creative spirit that you shared in TG caps, and your moving on means that you are going to continue growing. Thanks for the journey, sis. Farewell, sis, I smile for thee. ^_^

  10. Thank you for telling this fun and novel stories for so long! Your final captions, as well as your meta captions in general, really touch on some things about being into this kind of stuff that are absolutely spot on. But meta aside you've written a treasure trove of fun and interesting content that seemed to make a point of not just doing the bare 'oh I have boobs now' minimum and I'm happy that you did so.
Best of luck to your future endeavors!

  14. Thank you for what you've done and for your support of the community. I do understand where you are coming from and your reasons. As I move closer to finally launching my blog. I had hopes of this being on my list as well as to commission artwork from you. Your artwork the past months, has been something new and different for me as far as caption sites. Since often you can't find an image to fit your story or tell your entire story in small space. I've recently started at the start of your blog and have been reading my way through it. This is by far one of my favorite blogs.

  15. I have enjoyed so much of your content for many years, Mostly. All of us for the whole our lives are in constant states of change due to choice, chance and circumstance. It is one of the few ubiquitous and undeniable truths. Whether the changes we experience are for better or worse may only be known in retrospect.
So, as you look back on this chapter of your changing story, you can know that you have brought many people entertainment, enjoyment, escape, connection, community, pleasure, (and, perhaps, even some shuddering climaxes), through your words and images. That, my friend, is no small thing in a world too often unwilling to understand the beauty of diversity that exists between the polarizing of opposites.

May the paths that lie ahead of you be filled with all the boundless joy, love, peace, prosperity, happiness and the intimate empathy that is shared by those who recognize the reality of realms beyond the binary.

    Peace,Love&Kisses!!!
